HACCP

Dr. Deibel has been involved with HACCP since its inception in the early 1970's, through his relationship as Pillsbury's consultant during the initial development of the program.
Deibel offers certified HACCP classes through a training course recognized by the International HACCP Alliance. Like all Deibel training programs, these can be taught on site at your facility, or at one of the Deibel labs during one of their annual classes. Additionally Deibel offers classes on Advanced HACCP for current government Industry action, as well a "HACCP Overview" class designed for production or operations associates that need a knowledge about HACCP but don't necessarily need to be certified.

Special Projects

Deibel offers numerous project orientated experiments including:

Clostridium botulinum organism and toxin inoculated pack studies at our state of the art Biosafety Level 3 room.

Shelf life determinations for spoilage bacteria and fungal analytes.
Stability studies at controlled temperature and Relative Humidity points using our new environmental stability chambers.
Inoculated pack studies for Listeria to validate product integrity based on current USDA megareg's, as well as other pathogen inoculation studies.
Thermal death profiles for spoilage organisms and pathogenic bacteria. Preservative efficacy studies.
We also design experiments around your specific needs.

 

Training/Educational Services

Deibel has developed several educational classes that can be taught on site at your location, or at the nearest Deibel Lab. The training classes use a hybrid learning technique, ideal for Adult learning. Additionally, we use a proficiency testing option, ideal for auditing purposes; to guarantee participants have achieved a level of understanding the course material. Deibel will also readily customize a training class, specific for your needs, at no additional cost!

Plant Audits

Deibel performs several types of plant audits for current industry programs such as NFPA SAFE and HACCP Plan audits. Throughout the years Deibel has been sought-out for our expertise in crisis management/ microbial problem solving in situations involving spoilage organisms and pathogenic bacteria.
